Marathon mediation
A special form of mediation is marathon mediation. This form of mediation is often used when a conflict has reached a deadlock or procedures do not provide a solution. Marathon mediation is then a means of getting the parties back to the table and keeping them there for as long as necessary to reach a definitive solution. The parties agree that they will try to resolve all their points of dispute with a mediator in one day. Sometimes several days are needed. The mediator speaks to each party separately in advance. He studies the file and also consults intensively with the parties' lawyers and/or experts.
For a marathon mediation you can contact Marjoleine de Boorder or Priska Voskuil.
