Nafiesa has been working at De Boorder since September 2020. She graduated in 2017 cum laude in the Master of Law at Tilburg University. Early in her studies, she developed a great interest in personal and family law. In her Master's, she therefore focused on this area of law. She wrote her Master's thesis on the spousal maintenance obligation of a managing director. During her studies, Nafiesa worked at a medium-sized law firm in the Randstad and was a board member – as a volunteer – at the legal aid clinic in Houten, where she was responsible for the personal and family law section.
Before Nafiesa started her university education, she completed a full HBO Communications degree at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
After Nafiesa obtained her degree, she was given a permanent position at the Council of State. Here she worked in the Aliens Chamber, where she handled appeals on, among other things, the right to respect for family and family life and the rights of the child within immigration law. After working for two and a half years in the judiciary, Nafiesa decided to make the switch to the legal profession to specialize in personal and family law.
At De Boorder she combines her legal knowledge and communication skills and can further develop her interest in personal and family law.
Enthusiasm and perseverance are two qualities that characterize Nafiesa's work ethic. Even when things are difficult or when things are not going well.
Nafiesa is registered with NOVA as a specialist in the field of personal and family law.
This can be found in the NOVA legal areas register.
She obtains her mandatory training credits every year.
