Child support

As a parent, you are obliged to contribute to the costs of your children, even if you get divorced. You have this obligation until the children are 21 years old. Child support depends on the income during the marriage, what your children need and what amount you can pay. In order to determine this somewhat easily, the government has developed tables from which you can at least deduce what the children cost with the income of you and your partner. This is called the Nibud table.
