Eelco Anink studied notarial law at the University of Amsterdam after a commercial career in the financial sector. During his studies he became fascinated by family (property) law. In addition to his studies he worked at an international law and notary firm. In addition, he did scientific work as a student assistant in the field of matrimonial property and inheritance law. He received an honorable mention for his thesis on cohabitants.<\/p>\n

After his studies, he taught Personal, Family and Inheritance Law at the University of Amsterdam and was a candidate civil-law notary for a short time. He is a passionate, result- and solution-oriented lawyer. He combines decisiveness with great empathy for the personal story of his clients. He quickly sees the bigger picture and works tactfully and diplomatically. In addition to fluent English, he speaks good Portuguese because he lived in Brazil for a long time.<\/p>\n

Eelco behandelt complexe echtscheidings- en erfrechtzaken en procedeert regelmatig. Hij is als advocaat en mediator aangesloten bij de vereniging voor Familie- en Erfrecht Advocaten en Scheidingsmediators (vFAS). Eelco is summa cum laude geslaagd voor de postdoctorale specialisatieopleiding familierecht. Tevens is hij lid van de specialisten Vereniging Erfrecht Advocaten Nederland (VEAN), waarvan hij voorzitter is. Daarnaast publiceert Eelco over het relatievermogensrecht en het erfrecht. Zo schreef hij mee aan het Compendium Erfprocesrecht en verschenen er diverse artikelen van zijn hand in juridische vakbladen. Voorts doceert hij erfrecht aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA) en verzorgt hij postacademisch onderwijs aan advocaten, notarissen en fiscalisten op het gebied van het relatievermogensrecht en het erfrecht.<\/p>\n

Eelco has registered in the legal areas register of the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA) in the following main and sub-areas of law:
\n\u2022 Inheritance law;
\n\u2022 Personal and family law, including:
\n\u2013 Divorces, alimony cases and visitation arrangements
\n\u2013 Private international law
\n\u2013 Mediation
\n\u2013 Parenthood and recognition
\nBased on this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training credits each calendar year in each registered main area of law in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.<\/p>\n
