An adversarial procedure
Sometimes legal proceedings cannot be avoided. It may happen that so much has happened that reasonable consultation is no longer possible or the positions are simply too far apart. If there is a difference of opinion about a significant financial interest, litigation may be useful. For example, one party may find the company that needs to be divided to be of little value, while another party believes that the same company represents a significant value. In addition, there is often a conflict about the interpretation of the law or regulations. The interpretation of prenuptial agreements also leads to many proceedings. Unfortunately, disputes about children also occur. Think of the abduction of a child abroad or the determination of child support or a difference of opinion about a care arrangement.
